Title A name given to the resource Acerca de una escultura boliviana recuperada en Suiza Description An account of the resource Historia de una pequeña escultura lítica que fue creada por las manos de artífices Pukará de la cuenca norte del lago Titikaka [Puno, Perú], hacia principios de la era cristiana. Permaneció en los espacios rituales Pukara hasta que la cultura sucumbió pocos siglos después. Pasó el tiempo y en la cuenca sur del mismo lago surgió la cultura Tiwanaku, que pronto se expandió a la cuenca norte . Entre los testimonios materiales de la cultura Pukará, encontró a sus dioses, que de inmediato incorporó a su panteón. Los Tiwanaku transportaron hasta su centro religioso principal, un nutrido grupo de esculturas Pukará de diferente peso y tamaño. Entre ellas se encontraba, con seguridad, la pieza motivo de este estudio. Siglos después, en 1858, el explorador suizo von Tschudi se hizo de la pieza y se la llevó a su país. Permaneció en el Museo de Berna rotulada como pieza peruana hasta 2014, en que el Estado boliviano [bajo gobierno de Evo Morales] lo recuperó para su patrimonio.
